Children who scored 100 percent on Test A and 80 percent or higher on Test B of the ABCs with Ace and Christi Pretest are generally ready to read. These students can begin the <em>ABCs with Ace and Christi<\/em> program.<\/p>\n<p>Most children who are below the age of 5, or those who score less than 80 percent on the test, are not physically ready to learn the skills involved in reading. These students will benefit more from the <em>Kindergarten with Ace and Christi <\/em>program. We strongly recommend that they begin with the <em>Kindergarten with ACE and Christi <\/em>program until they are ready in their reading skills.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n<\/div>\n\t<div id=\"text-4185699067\" class=\"text\">\n\t\t\n<h2><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Speaking English with Ace and Christi\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>Speaking English with ACE and Christi <\/em>program is a series of 60 lessons designed for young preschool-aged children learning to speak English as a second language. The lessons teach conversational English and prepare students for <em>ABCs with Ace and Christi <\/em>program.<\/p>\n<p>This program provides lesson for aural and oral language development that include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>English language for everyday listening and speaking.<\/li>\n<li>English vocabulary necessary for children to move through the <em>ABCs with ACE and Christi <\/em>program in English and the Word Building <br \/>PACEs 1001-1012.<\/li>\n<li>English communication structures that allow children to express verbally their questions, statements, needs, and ideas in English.<\/li>\n<li>English language skills necessary for children to progress through the first level in Math, English, Social Studies, and Science.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\n<style>\n#text-4185699067 {\n  line-height: 1.5;\n}\n<\/style>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t<div id=\"text-2267129483\" class=\"text\">\n\t\t\n<h2><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>ABCs for English Learners\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<em>ABCs for English Learners<\/em> program is designed for children ages 5\u20139 who have passed the ABCs with Ace and Christi Pretest. It combines two of our reading programs (<em>Speaking English with Ace and Christi\u00a0and\u00a0ABCs with Ace and Christi<\/em>) for a 30\u201336 week program. This combined course allows students to learn to read and speak English with enough comprehension to begin learning the first level English instruction units by week nineteen.<\/p>\n<p>This new combined curriculum vocabulary has been modified with the English as a second language educator in mind. Instructions and stories are written for educators teaching students who are learning English.<\/p>\n<p>This program provides lessons for aural and oral language development that include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Verbal communication is encouraged though the use of games, songs, stories, poems, and other fun activities.<\/li>\n<li>English vocabulary is taught that is necessary for children to verbally communicate their questions, statements, needs, and ideas.<\/li>\n<li>English language comprehension is taught that allows the student to advance through the first level in Math, English, Social Studies, and Science much more quickly than enrolling <em>in Speaking English with ACE and Christi<\/em> and <em><em>ABCs with ACE and
