Admissions Process<\/span><\/h1>\n

  • Parents\/guardians may get a student application form from the RPIS Office.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Student applicant and his\/her parents will be interviewed by the school Administrator and Principal before a student assessment is given.<\/span>\n
      \n
    • Entrance is not based on IQ or achievement. Every applicant is welcome unless he\/she shows evidence of becoming a social liability to other students.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The student applicant may be accepted, rejected, or on probation, depending on the results of the interview.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • The child will have a physical examination by a physician and submit a medical form upon enrollment.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • A birth certificate is required. For transferees, also submit previous educational certificates\/academic records.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The parents sign an Agreement Form with the school.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The parents attend the Parent\u2019s Orientation before classes begin.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Testing Fees must be paid before an assessment of the student’s English skills commences.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The parents sign the Parents-Teachers Conference Agreement. These quarterly conferences keep parents and teachers up-to-date on the student’s progress.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Before a child is accepted:<\/span>\n
          \n
        • For ABC\u2019s and Kindergarten levels \u2013 For Kindergarten, the child must be 4-5 years old. Parents\/Guardian must agree to the basic RPIS principles of education. The child will have a simple \u00a0preliminary assessment.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • For L1-L12 Levels \u2013 Generally, grade level will be accepted from the prior school for a transfer student, per the chart below. For a student who is a non-native English speaker, continuing to learn best at RPIS’ commensurate grade level, will require adequate English language skills for that level. That student’s English skills will be assessed, and if needed the student will begin with English lessons, before beginning other core curriculum learning.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\n
